Welcome to the home of DreamTime Welsh, located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. We breed, raise and show Section A Welsh Mountain Ponies and Section D Welsh Cobs. Please have a look at our website and our ponies. We will be providing regular updates on our ponies – training, breeding, and showing information...so check back often!
We originally started our business under the name DreamTime Equestrian. We still own and operate DreamTime Equestrian which is a fully operational on-line store. You can find and order many equine, pet and people items on the site. Please take a few minutes and see what we have to offer. Make sure you check back often, as we will continually be adding new items to our store.

Finally, DreamTime Welsh has started settling into it’s new home in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This has been a huge change for us, as we are now located in an area that boasts the highest number of horses per capita in Canada! Moving from an area with no equine services to Sherwood Park has been a great experience! We are very busy at DreamTime building fences, shelters, and will soon move our ponies home.
We are looking forward to the spring and our first Section A foal. We plan on being present at all of the Alberta Welsh Pony shows, and meeting up with many friends for great competition, and more good times! We hope to see you there!! If you are interested in any information on the shows, email us for details and web links.

DreamTime Welsh is thrilled to announce the arrival of the fantastic many-time Supreme Champion winner Goldhills Brandysnap in Alberta. Brandysnap is currently competing in dressage here in Alberta, and is available for stud services at his new home, Daventry Farms. To view the incredible number of wins this wonderful stallion has had in the United States, visit the Daventry Farms website. We are very proud to say that Brandysnap is a half-brother to our very own Goldhills Toffee, and both of these wonderful Section D Welsh Cobs present the very best of movement, trainability, and wow factor this breed is known for!
Keep an eye out for further updates on Brandysnap's budding dressage career. With his presence in the Alberta dressage circuit, many riders are finally being introduced to this breed as great mounts in the dressage ring! Best of luck to Tracy and Brandysnap to further wonderful scores in dressage this season!

We would like to congratulate our former sales cob Foothills Ruby and her rider, Gemara Leska for a fantastic job at a recent combined training show. Their training level dressage test qualifies them for year-end championships, and they received a second place in Combined Training Pre-Novice division – a level higher than they competed last year. Topping off the show was the reserve high point CT score for the show!!! Way to go – we look forward to hearing more great results from this Welsh Cob-Rider duo!

Finally, a news update! We are thrilled to announce that our pony "Rose" (Young's Arrest That Flirt) was the Alberta Provincial Welsh High Point Section A mare in halter for the 2007 show season! Way to go Rose!
The other great news we had is Megan tied for the Alberta Welsh Junior Sportsmanship award. Way to go Megan!
We are looking forward to a new and exciting show season for 2008, and are excited to broaden our horizons beyond the Welsh show circuit. While we expect to attend a couple of breed shows with our ponies this year, 2008 will hopefully see a few other types of shows in our schedule.
Keep checking back for futher updates on the DreamTime family!
